TOPICS and QUESTIONS TO BE ADDRESSED: visa liberalization - new policiesand mechanisms in migration management; modern migratory challenges; European Agenda on Migration and Global Compact on Migration – national contexts and global approaches;and international processes for migration management – interstate cooperation, perspectives and challenges.

 

Howhas the implementation of the Visa Liberalisation Action Plan affected migration management in Georgia - what were the challenges and what are the future plans? What is the migrant-receiving states’ policy in terms of migrant integration, reducing vulnerability and risk assessment? What is the future vision of the European Agenda on Migration and how could the Global Compact on Migration assist states in addressing present migratory challenges? What were the main results achieved through migration dialogues between states and regions and what does the future hold forthis platform?
