Night Owl Session – "Brexit"and the Future of Europe
In the framework of 13th Batumi International Conference “Georgia’s European Way – Stability, Development and Diversity” first working day is finalized by the Night Owl Session. The session covers the current issue of “Brexit” and the future of Europe (The Chatham House Rule). The session is moderated by Director of the EU-Asia Center in Brussels - Fraser Cameron.
The speakers of the session include: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Belgium and Representative of Georgia to the European Union, Natalie Sabanadze, Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia, Janos Herman, Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Georgia , Alexandra Mary Hall Hall, Head of Unit for the Russian Federation, the Countries of Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic, Maurizio Greganti and Former Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement, Günter Verheugen.
The Conference “Georgia’s European Way” hosts high-level officials of executive and legislative bodies of Georgia, EU Member States, the EU Institutions and partner countries, including representatives of civil society and the business sector. The event is covered by international and local media
