Graduated from the Minsk State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages (1992), attended a course arranged by the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics special faculty (1993)
From 1992 to 2008 H.E. Evgeny Shestakov held various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
In 2008-2016 he was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Italian Republic, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. From 2009 to 2016 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Malta with concurrent accreditation.
From March 2016 – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
Speaks Russian, English, French, Lithuanian and Italian. Holds the diplomatic rank of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
Married, has two children.
