Dr Fraser Cameron is Director of the EU-Asia Centre in Brussels and a senior Advisor to the European Policy Centre.  He graduated from St Andrews University in Scotland and did a PhD at Cambridge University.  A former British diplomat and EU official. he spent over a decade en poste in Germany and the US.  In the European Commission, he was involved in enlargement, the neighborhood and the foreign and security policy.

He is a visiting professor at a number of universities and the author of several books and articles on European affairs. He was also the founding Director of the EU-Russia Centre. He is a regular commentator on European politics, a consultant to the BBC and advises a number of companies on EU issues.
