Kerstin Lundgren, 3rd Deputy Speaker in the Swedish Parliament representing the Swedish Centerpartiet (Centre Party) has been a Member of the Swedish Parliament Riksdagen since 2002. She is active in the Committee on Foreign Affairs and is the spokesperson for the Centre Party on Foreign Affairs since 2006. Before she was a member of the Committee on Constitution. She has also been an alternate in the Committee on Defence as well as on European Affairs. She has been a member of the Swedish delegation to Council of Europe between the year 2007 – 2018 and Vice President of the ALDE-group.
Ms. Lundgren holds a University degree in Political Science from the University of Uppsala and she is especially interested in international relations, constitutional and climate issues. She has been member in the Committee for reforming the Swedish constitution. She has been a member of the board of SIDA, as well as now in the council to Folke Bernadotte Academy. She has been a member of the board of the Centerpartiet for seven years and the president for ten years of the Centre Party in the Stockholm region.
