Ambassador Jaan Reinhold is a Special Diplomatic Representative for EU Eastern Partnership and the Director of Estonian Center for Eastern Partnership since October 2016. Mr. Reinhold launched his public service career as Senior Advisor at the Government Office of the Republic of Estonia. Previously he served as an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Kazakhstan, accredited to Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan (2014-2016) as well as Consul General of Estonia in Shanghai, People's Republic of China (2011-2014). Mr Reinhold also carried out his duties as Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Estonia to Lithuania in 2006-2010. Ambassador Jaan Reinhold holds Bachelors’ Degree in History, Political Science, Archival Science from Tartu University and also completed his complementary studies of International Relations, Polish History and Slavonic languages at Warsaw University.
