Alexandra Mary Hall Hall joined the UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in 1986. Throughout the years, Ms. Hall Hall worked at a wide range of jobs in different countries from Thailand, to New Delhi and to Bogota, where she was the deputy head of the UK mission in Columbia. Alexandra spent time in London, working on the Middle East Peace Process in the 90s, as well as heading FCO’s Human Rights, Democracy and Good Governance Department.

Ms. Hall Hall spent many years in Washington DC in various capacities: as the head of the press office and embassy spokesperson, as well as on a secondment to the US State Department.  In July 2013 Ms. Hall Hall became UK Ambassador to Georgia.
