Vincent Rey joined the EU Delegation to Georgia in May 2016 as Head of Cooperation overseeing the entire aid programme. He graduated from Sciences-Po Paris and holds a Masters from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium as well as an LLM from the University of Strasbourg, France.
Vincent joined the EU Delegation from the European Commission where he was Deputy Head of Unit for Neighbourhood East. He has served in the Commission since 1993 and held positions in Brussels as deputy head of unit and policy coordinator in the directorate-General for Enlargement and in the Secretariat-General, as well as in Turkey where he was posted as Head of the Institution Building and Civil Society section in the EU Delegation.
